Hoboken police arrested a Hudson County driver and his passenger after they allegedly ignored officers' attempts to pull them over.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police arrested a Hudson County driver and his passenger after they allegedly ignored officers’ attempts to pull them over early Thursday morning, authorities said.

According to the Hoboken Police Department, the incident started when two officers attempted to stop a black, 2002 Pontiac for alleged motor vehicle violations including an expired registration and an unlicensed driver at 2:23 a.m. The officers lost the vehicle when its driver refused to stop and left the area, authorities said.

Police said that officers later found the vehicle parked in the Hoboken Housing Authority along with the alleged driver and passenger involved in the earlier incident. When officers approached the passenger, Ryan Harris, 28, of Jersey City, he was allegedly “uncooperative” before being placed under arrest, authorities said.
