Grace Church Egg Hunt In Hoboken Canceled, Other Hunt Will Be Sunday

With storms in the forecast, the Grace Church Egg Hunt, which normally drew 5,000 kids, has been canceled, but another will run Sunday.

HOBOKEN, NJ — One popular Easter egg hunt that often drew 5,000 children to downtown Hoboken has been canceled due to the rain. But another hunt was postponed until Sunday, when sunshine is expected.

"The much anticipated 2023 Hoboken Grace Easter Egg Hunt is canceled due to weather," said organizers Saturday morning. "The decision was made after various discussions with local officials and weather experts. The egg hunt, which was expecting over 5,000 people, does not have a reschedule date. The Hoboken Grace Easter Egg Hunt was set to take place at Mama Johnson Field."

However, the Hoboken Family Alliance's annual Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Fling will return to Columbus Park this weekend — but it was just rescheduled for this Sunday, April 2.
