Hoboken Garden Club: How to Attract Bees to Your Garden
Free presentation will take place at Hoboken Historical Museum on April 28.

Ever wanted to get more bees to visit your garden?
The Hoboken Garden Club will present a program titled “Gardening To Attract Bees,” on Tuesday, April 28, at the Hoboken Historical Museum at 13th and Hudson Streets.
Admission to the talk is free for Garden Club and museum members and $5 for non-members. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with refreshments and the talk will start at 7:30 p.m. According to a release, validated free parking will be available at the Little Man Parking Garage on 12th Street.

Aaron Daniels, beekeeper and owner of Jersey Buzz, will talk about his experiences tending beehives in gardens and on rooftops. Daniels will share his insight about the kinds of plants/flowers that attract bees and how to create a friendly environment for bees. Daniels will also discuss what makes a healthy hive and what causes different flavors of honey, with samples from his hives available for purchase.
