HOBOKEN, NJ — In honor of National Preservation Month in May, the Hoboken Historic Preservation Commission (HHPC) will join the National Trust for Historic Places’ annual “This Place Matters” awareness campaign.
According to a news release from the commission, “This Place Matters” is a month-long social media awareness campaign that encourages people to celebrate the places that are meaningful to them and their communities.
“By taking and posting photos of places that are special to Hoboken residents, with ‘This Place Matters’ signage, we will shine a spotlight onto places that make Hoboken special,” the HHPC stated.
