Hoboken Hosts Final World Cup Soccer Events This Weekend
With the final World Cup match set for this weekend, several public events are planned in the area.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Several World Cup and soccer-themed events will take place in Hoboken this weekend as the final match is set for Sunday.
The match between Argentina and Spain takes place in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford at 3 p.m. Sunday. Pres. Donald Trump and Gov. Mikie Sherril are both expected to attend, although sources say there is some concern about the air quality.
A slew of events are scheduled for both the south and north end of Hoboken that day, starting at 11 a.m.
