Hoboken-To-Jersey Shore Bus Service Launches Memorial Day Weekend

Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, there's a new way to get to the Jersey Shore from Hoboken: NJ Shore Shuttle.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, there’s a new way to get to the Jersey Shore from Hoboken: NJ Shore Shuttle.

Earlier this week, the transportation company announced that starting Friday, May 25, it will be launching air conditioned bus service from CVS in Hoboken to Manasquan, “cutting the time the train takes in half.” Tickets will be $20 each way and can be booked here.

“This new service will provide shore goers a more comfortable and faster way to get to Manasquan Beach and the surrounding bars & restaurants all summer long,” the company stated in a news release.

According to the company’s website:

“NJ Shore Shuttle was founded by two Squan veterans who were sick and tired of sitting (or even worse standing) every Sunday on a miserable 3-hour train ride from Manasquan to Hoboken. The only thing worse than the inevitable case of the Sunday Scaries is having to transfer trains at Long Branch and then again at Secaucus. Our mission is to provide a convenient, affordable, and efficient way to get back and forth between Hoboken and Manasquan every weekend, all summer long.”
