HOBOKEN, NJ — Two Hoboken cheerleading teams, Cheer Dynamics All Stars Sparkles and Cheer Dynamics All Stars Black Diamonds, both qualified to compete in a national championship, "The One," in Virginia Beach this Saturday.

Friday morning, Hoboken City Council President Dr. Michael Russo, Hudson County Commissioner Anthony Romano, and Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro were all in attendance to send off the Hoboken Cheer Dynamics All Stars.

“Today is a great day for Hoboken. As the City Council president, I’m here representing Mayor Bhalla and the entire City Council to send off our young ladies to represent our great city,” said Russo. “But what’s really amazing for me, I get to accompany the very best of Hoboken on their journey, as Lia’s dad.”
