Murder Charge For Hoboken Man In Triple Shooting In Jersey City
A 36-year-old Hoboken man has been charged with murder in connection with a triple shooting in Jersey City this month.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A 36-year-old Hoboken man has been arrested on a murder charge in connection with a recent triple shooting in Jersey City.
Joseph Del Valle was charged Tuesday with murder and several weapons possession charges, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that just before 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, the Jersey City Police Department responded to reports of shots fired on Jordan Avenue.

Police responded to an area between Mercer Street and Vroom Street, but three men were being taken privately to Jersey City Medical Center.
Christoph Terrero Marte, 33, of Jersey City, was pronounced dead at approximately 7:35 a.m., prosecutors said.

A 28-year-old Union City man and a 31-year-old Jersey City man were treated for injuries that were not life threatening.
Prosecutors said that Del Valle was arrested at an address on Summit Avenue in Jersey City and taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility to await his first court appearance.
Besides murder, he was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Also, Francisco Salcedo, 42, of Jersey City, was charged with aggravated assault and two weapons charges, prosecutors said. He was arrested on March 11 at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus, prosecutors said.
