Hoboken Memorial Day Parade Tonight, Buses To Be Rerouted

Find out when Hoboken's Memorial Day Parade starts and where traffic will be rerouted for the evening commute home.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken’s Annual Memorial Day Parade will kick off at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, May 22.

The parade, hosted by American Legion Post 107 and the City of Hoboken, marches from City Hall, 94 Washington St., north on Washington Street to the viewing stand at the Elks Club, 1005 Washington St. Speeches will be held in front of that site.

According to the city, Washington Street will be closed between Observer Highway and 11th Street from approximately 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

New Jersey Transit buses will be diverted to Hudson Street and Bloomfield Street during that time, the city said.

Drivers and Hop riders can expect delays and for traffic to be re-routed during that time.
