More than 30 kids at Hoboken Middle School performed "I Hate Valentine's Day" over the weekend.

HOBOKEN, NJ — As you enjoy your Valentine's Day, consider the plight of middle schoolers who must deal with their changing bodies, changing attitudes, and changing classes amidst the threat of romance.

Thirty kids in grades 6-8 At Hoboken Middle School reminded audiences of these struggles over the weekend by performing the musical, "I Hate Valentine's Day."

Incorporating several monologues, as well as singing and dancing, the brave thespians put on three performances and then said goodbye to the eighth graders who will spread their wings at the end of the year.
