Hoboken Parking/Municipal Schedule Released For New Year's Week
Here are the parking, street sweeping, City Hall, and HOP schedule adjustments for New Year's week.

HOBOKEN, NJ —Holidays in Hoboken sometimes mean there's more parking available. But what are the rules for metered, residential, and visitor parking on those days, and when are city offices open to help? Here are schedule changes for city offices, parking, the HOP bus, and garbage collection for New Year's week. To confirm or for any questions, contact the Parking Utility.
- Street sweeping: Suspended on New Year's Day.
- Meters: Suspended on New Year's Day.
- City Hall: Closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day. Customer service window of the Hoboken Parking Utility closes at 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31).
- Garage parking: free garage parking in garages B, D and Midtown continues this coming weekend. Drivers will need to show the garage attendant a receipt showing purchase of at least $20 at Hoboken shopping or dining establishments.
- Garbage collection: remains on schedule without interruption
- HOP bus service: ends at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31. Free Holiday HOP continues along the 126 bus route this upcoming Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 28 and 29, from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
