Hoboken Police Hunt for Suspects in McDonald's Beating

Cops: Two men entered the Washington Street restaurant and punched and kicked the victim before fleeing.

Hoboken police are seeking two men who allegedly attacked a man in the McDonald’s on Washington Street.

According to police, around 3:27 a.m. on Monday, two males entered the McDonald’s and began punching and kicking the victim as he was lying on the floor, knocking him unconscious and causing serious head trauma.

The suspects then fled the restaurant east on Third Street from Washington Street.

Authorities have identified one of the suspects as Paul Maiolini, 26, of Carmel, N.Y., a 5 foot 9 inch, 175-pound, unemployed ironworker. [See photo 1 above]

Authorities described the second suspect as a light-complexioned, white or Hispanic man with several tattoos on both arms, about 5 foot 9 inches and 160 pounds. The suspect was wearing a long-sleeved, black shirt with an attached hood, blue-colored jeans, white and black-colored sneakers, and a red, fitted baseball cap with a black-colored New York Yankees logo. Maiolini has been charged with aggravated assault in the second degree and endangering an injured victim.
