Hoboken Public Safety Forum Set For Tuesday
Hoboken public safety representatives will answer questions at the next CAPS session at a local restaurant Tuesday.

HOBOKEN, NJ — If you've always wanted to ask about crime and safety in Hoboken, here's your chance.
The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Public Safety Department will host the next CAPS (Community And Public Safety) meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at Onieals, the restaurant just south of Church Square Park. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Light breakfast will be served.

Officials from the Hoboken Police Department, Hoboken Fire, Hoboken Office of Emergency Management, Hoboken EMS and Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and the Hoboken Health Division will be there for presentations, conversations, and a question-and-answer session.
The restaurant is located at 343 Park Ave., Hoboken.

Also, the Hoboken Police Department will host a pop-up Pedestrian Safety Community Engagement Event from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Church Square Park.
The city said, "Representatives with HPD's Transportation and Traffic Unit will be available to discuss various issues related to pedestrian and traffic safety in Hoboken. All residents are welcome to stop by for conversations, to ask questions, and present concerns. Feedback gathered at this event will help the HPD plan for future public safety improvement initiatives."
The pop-up tent will be near the Park Avenue and Fourth Street entrance across the street from Onieals.
