Hoboken Recipe Contest Deadline Is Near; Farmers' Market In Final Weeks

HOBOKEN, NJ — A Hoboken Farmers' Market recipe contest was extended for one week after the nor'easter caused last Tuesday's market to be canceled. The contest closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time tonight, Nov. 1. The market is also in its final weeks (more details below).

• Submit your favorite recipe with ingredients from the farmer(s) of your choice;
• Specify the vendor (list below);
• Send to hobokenfarmersmarket1@gmail.com
• Name and contact information must appear with each entry.
• Winners will be announced at the market at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
• Prizes will be available that day, and the following week on Tuesday. They must be claimed in person.

The market is expected to run through Thanksgiving week, with the last of its 25th season on Tuesday, Nov. 23.

Hoboken also has another weekly farmers' market uptown under the 14th Street Viaduct each Saturday.
