Hoboken Restaurant To Host Block Party On 20th Anniversary
If anything, Anthony David's in Hoboken is a testament to the power of a good crab cake.

HOBOKEN, NJ — If anything, Anthony David’s is a testament to the power of a good crab cake.
On Sept. 29, a Hoboken foodie staple, Anthony David’s at 953 Bloomfield Street, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the day it opened its doors. What began as a modest gourmet shop eventually blossomed into a successful restaurant that has been bringing local families together for two decades. (Learn more about this local business here)
Anthony and Liz Pino launched the local landmark in 1998 as a gourmet prepared foods and catering business, getting a big early boost from their trademark crab cakes, which Anthony sold to Balducci’s and other clients for more than 10 years.

In 2002, they expanded, offering brunch, dinners and catered events. Then, after a life-changing trip to Italy in 2013, Anthony Pino made the restaurant an all-day trattoria, featuring "Chef’s Counter" dinners and private events.
To celebrate Anthony David’s 20th anniversary, the Pinos will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony and outdoor block party event on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 10th Street between Washington and Bloomfield streets.

And yes, Chef Anthony’s original crab cakes will be part of the menu.
