In Hoboken: 'Ride for a Cause' Fundraiser Raises Autism Awareness
Wallace Elementary School partners with Hoboken fitness studio

Wallace Elementary School in Hoboken and Work it Out Fitness Studios will host the 2nd annual “Ride for a Cause” autism awareness fundraiser on Sunday, March 29, at Work it Out’s River Studio, 5 Marine View Plaza, Hoboken.
The community is invited to attend hour-long spin sessions at noon and 1 p.m., for a donation of $50 each. All proceeds will benefit Wallace Elementary’s Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program and the Global Autism Project.
“Finding ways to support the community where our members work, live and play is our priority,” stated Noël Fiorentinos, founder of Work it Out Fitness Studios. “By partnering with Wallace Elementary to raise funds for its autism program, we are able to give back to the community that we’ve been proud to call home for the past five years.”

The cause is especially close to the Fiorentinos’ heart, as a child of one of her employees directly benefits from the ABA services offered at the school, according to a release.
The fitness-inspired ‘Ride for a Cause’ event raised nearly $3,000 last year, according to the release. The two spin sessions will cap off a season of successful fundraising for the Work it Out and Wallace Elementary team, which included a local “Drop & Shop” event in December that raised nearly $2,500.
