Hoboken Schools To Be Remote On Thursday Due To Snow
The National Weather Service expects snow for both Thursday and Friday. Find out how much is expected each day.

HOBOKEN, NJ — With an all-day snowfall predicted for Thursday, the Hoboken Public Schools will be fully remote that day, according to a message sent the night before.
"Due to inclement weather, the Hoboken Public School District will operate a remote learning day for all students tomorrow, Thursday, February 18th. Stay safe and warm," said the message.
For Hoboken, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Thursday at 4 a.m. through Friday at 7 p.m. They predict:

- Thursday: Snow. High near 31. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. Northeast wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
- Thursday Night: Snow. Low around 28. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Northeast wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
- Friday: Snow, mainly before 3 p.m. High near 33. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. Northeast wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
