Hoboken Schools To Have Remote Learning Tuesday

As the nor'easter continues, Hoboken public school students will have remote learning Tuesday.

HOBOKEN, NJ — As a nor'easter continued to blanket Hoboken in snow on Monday afternoon, the Hoboken public schools called for an all-remote learning day on Tuesday.

Schools had been closed on Monday.

"Dear Parents and Guardians," wrote Superintendent Christine Johnson about Tuesday, "The entire Hoboken Public School District will operate on a remote learning schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2nd due to inclement weather. Instructions for remote learning will be provided by principals and teachers."

As the storm continued on Monday afternoon, the Port Authority said that PATH service would be suspended by 3 p.m.

The National Weather Service estimated 14 to 18 more inches could fall in North Jersey in total, with winds up to 45 miles per hour.
