Hoboken Schools To Hold 3 Performances Of 'Matilda The Musical'

The award-winning Hoboken theater program will host 3 performances of "Matilda." Tickets are running out.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Good things come to those who wait. After the award-winning Hoboken schools theater program had to postpone its district-wide musical in spring 2020, it's finally putting on three performances of "Matilda" this weekend.

Students from all of the public schools were invited to try out for the district-wide musical.

The show will run live on Friday night at 7, Saturday afternoon at 2, and Sunday afternoon at 2.

Tickets were limited this week, but can be purchased here.

Matilda the Musical, based on the Roald Dahl children's book, "is the story of a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers who, with the support of her teacher, tries to rid her school of its evil headmistress Miss Trunchbull," according to Playbill.
