Hoboken Shelter Needs Laundry Detergent (How To Donate)
The Hoboken Shelter gives its guests a much-needed resource: a way to do their laundry.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Every night, the Hoboken Shelter gives around 50 homeless people a place to stay, as well as a location to get support services. The shelter also gives its guests a much-needed (but often overlooked) boost: a way to do their laundry.
And that takes soap, the shelter says.
On Thursday, the shelter’s staff put out a social media call for laundry detergent, asking for donations of suds from the community.

“Any and all kinds and sizes are appreciated,” the shelter wrote, although its staff added that they don’t use dryer sheets.
Donors can drop off/send the detergent at 300 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030. Learn more about donating to the Hoboken Shelter here.
