Hoboken Spring Fling: Community Service Day Returns For 2019

HOBOKEN, NJ — More than 500 Hoboken residents participated in 34 projects during last year’s “Spring Fling.” Will you be among them in 2019?
The City of Hoboken will hold its third annual Spring Fling, a community-wide day of service dedicated to cleaning up our parks and public spaces, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4.
The event will offer Hoboken residents, businesses, and community groups the opportunity to work together on a "hands-on" high-visibility service project, according to a city news release.

In a new twist this year, people can register for the specific volunteer project that interests them most using VolunteerMatch. Participants can register as groups or individuals, city officials said.
Community clean-up projects may include mulching tree pits, planting, weeding, painting benches, railings or other public amenities and removing debris from public property.
