Hoboken Trader Joe's May Be Getting Closer

A Hoboken city zoning application included drawings for a Trader Joe's on the ground floor, a report says.

It may be getting closer, Hoboken.

The rumors that a Trader Joe’s may soon be coming to Hoboken took another twist last week, when NJ.com reported that Advance at Hoboken, LLC – the developers of the mixed-use complex at the corner of Willow and 14th - filed a Certificate of Zoning application on Sept. 24 that includes architectural drawings for a Trader Joe’s on the ground floor.

According to HMag.com, the store has approval from the Hoboken Zoning Board, but it still awaiting City Council approval of potential parking and traffic impacts.

A Hoboken411 report stated that the grocery chain is signed on as a lessee to the mixed use development complex at the corner of Willow and 14th.
