Schools Superintendent Christine Johnson said that the public schools would close again on Tuesday due to the timing of snow cleanup.

Johnson said that the district, which had another snow day due to an earlier storm, will have to make up two days at the end of the school year. A new school calendar will be issued, she said.
The Hoboken library will also remain closed on Tuesday.
With most of the city's roads plowed by Monday night, the city said it will begin inspecting sidewalks at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Property owners may be fined if they don't keep their area clear.

Meanwhile, forecasters say snow showers may arrive in the city between 1 and 4 a.m. early Wednesday morning, and then more snow may fall between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. The NWS predicts that less than an inch will fall. But the morning commute may be slippery.
The snow is likely to change to rain from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent, forecasters say.
