UPDATE: New Date For Hudson County Cinco De Mayo Event: Beer Garden Opening, Fireworks

NEW DATE: "Jersey City's first open-air, waterfront beer garden," Lutze Biergarten, will hold a Cinco de Mayo festival on May 4.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Update: Due to "potential bad weather" on Friday, the grand opening of the Lutze Biergarten on Jersey City’s waterfront has been rescheduled for Thursday at 5 p.m., organizers announced Tuesday. Our original article follows with new date/time.

If you’re looking for a Cinco de Mayo destination in Hudson County, it might be a good time to check out “Jersey City’s first open-air, waterfront beer garden,” Lutze Biergarten.

According to a company news release, Lutze Biergarten will hold a Cinco de Mayo event on Thursday, May 4 at 15 Second Street in Jersey City. The celebration will start at 5 p.m. and end at midnight, and will include more than 100 vendors, food trucks, drinks, children’s face painting, live music and a fireworks display.
