Hudson County Executive, Sheriff, Surrogate: Election Results

Democrats lead their Republican opponents by a wide margin, according to unofficial results in Hudson County.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Hudson County residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote for county executive, sheriff and surrogate.

With 94 percent of districts reported, it appears that – pending official certification – the Democratic party candidates have a clean sweep in Hudson County.

According to unofficial results from the Hudson County Clerk’s Office, Thomas DeGise, Frank Schillari and Tilo Rivas all lead their Republican opponents by wide margins as of Wednesday morning.

COUNTY EXECUTIVE

  • Thomas DeGise – 45,691 (82.69%)
  • Kennith Gonzalez – 9,510 (17.21%)

COUNTY SHERIFF

  • Adela Rohena – 8,899 (16.56%)

  • Tilo Rivas – 43,689 (82.27%)
