This Hudson County Town Has Most Immigrants In NJ: Report
A recent report says that a Hudson County town is home to the most immigrants in New Jersey.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — New Jersey has a long history of immigrants coming to the Garden State in search of a better life for themselves and their families. And according to recent reports, Hudson County is home to the town with the most immigrants in the state.
A survey by NJ101.5 recently mapped out the percentages and numbers of immigrants in each New Jersey town, basing their data on U.S. Census estimates. According to the report, Jersey City had 104,565 foreign-born residents… the most in the Garden State.
In addition, two other towns ranked high on the list:

- West New York - 51,860 (59%)
- Union City – 40,334 (59%)
According to the report, the following Hudson County towns also have high percentages of immigrant residents:
- East Newark – 59 %
- Guttenberg – 58 %
- Harrison – 52 %
- North Bergen – 49 %

Meanwhile, a recent NJ Spotlight report claims that Hudson County ranks as one of the counties with the most pending immigration cases in the state. Read the full report here.
With 3,973 pending cases, Hudson County ranks third-highest in the state after Essex and Union counties, according to data from the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University.
