Jersey City, Hoboken Restaurants Feature Items For S'mores Day

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Who doesn't love a gently toasted marshmallow atop melty chocolate, between graham crackers?

Monday was designated National S'mores Day, and several Hudson County eateries are offering items that are paired well with the day — some available all month long.

Here are a few we spotted around:

Choc-O-Pain

Choc-O-Pain's four locations in Hoboken and Jersey City feature s'mores sourdough bread. They were out of it by late on Saturday morning at the Uptown Farmers Market in Hoboken. Owner Clemence Danko says it'll be available at the stores all month:

The Hive

The Hive coffee shops have offered a s'mores cookie with chocolate and marshmallow for years, but they now also have a s'mores peanut butter bar. Since opening in Hoboken in 2020, they expanded to Jersey City and are coming soon to Manhattan.

Paris Baguette

Paris Baguette, a national bakery chain with local stores, offers five s'mores items this month, including a waffle pastry dried with chocolate and marshmallows, and a s'mores frappe drink.

Trader Joe's

If you want something to save in your freezer, Trader Joe's has a box of frozen s'mores bars.

All four of these shops have locations in Hoboken, and several also have Jersey City spots.
