Jets Linebacker Goes Undercover To Make Pizza At Hoboken Restaurant For TV Show
For "Undercover Athlete," New York Jet C.J. Mosley tossed dough at a Hoboken pizzeria and asked customers to name their favorite linebacker.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley had a little fun with the fans recently when he learned to make pizza at family-owned Napoli Pizza in Hoboken and asked unsuspecting customers football questions.
It was all for an episode of "Undercover Athlete" that premiered days ago.
As Mosley prepared to go beyond the counter at Napoli's, located on Hoboken's Washington Street, he told viewers, "New Yorkers are real about their pizza, so I'm going to give them a hard time."

The 6'2" Alabama graduate offered free pizza to those who could name their favorite linebacker. One woman said she didn't know what that was. (Quick definition: "A linebacker is a position on the defense tasked with stopping the offense. He is lined up behind the defensive linemen.")
Napoli's was founded by the late Frank Volpe, who first worked at his family's legendary business, Lombardi's in SoHo, for 12 years. Both Hoboken locations are still run by his family, including wife Jocelyn Volpe.
