Kickboxing Cruise Will Depart From Hudson County

CKO Kickboxing – which has 2 locations in Hoboken – has organized a cruise that features an indoor kickboxing gym.

It’s a cruise with some kick.

CKO Kickboxing, a national chain that has two Hoboken locations, announced that it will be hosting “Kickboxing at Sea: The Next Great Adventure,” aboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship “Anthem of the Seas.”

According to a release, the trip will feature a five-night Bermuda cruise round trip from Bayonne, with a two-day overnight port of call in King’s Wharf, Bermuda.

But what makes this cruise unique is the main attraction… an indoor kickboxing gym with 25-foot hanging heavy bag racks.

The cruise will also include private, indoor morning kickboxing classes in the ship’s Seaplex recreation area, which will be exclusive for the CKO Kickboxing group, according to a release.

“People will be able to kick back and relax, and they’ll be able to kick box and get fit,” stated Joseph Andreula, founder and president of CKO Kickboxing.

The cruise will also feature a 24-hour open gangway and a live DJ spinning discs from a DJ booth that is on a mechanical arm that floats over the Seaplex recreation area, a release stated.

The cruise will take place from August 20-25, 2016. The registration deadline is June 1, 2016.

According to a release, CKO has negotiated discounted rates that are substantially lower than prices posted by the cruise line, but members must register via this link to get the special rates, exclusive amenities and be able to attend kickboxing classes.
