HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken public school kids are a week away from summer vacation. The most up-to-date district calendar for the 2021-2022 school year is linked here.
According to the calendar, schools are closed this Friday, June 17 for Juneteenth.
Juneteenth, or Emancipation Day, is a new federal holiday commemorating the end of Slavery in the United States. It's also a state holiday in five states, including New Jersey.
