Macy's Thanksgiving Parade Balloons Blown Up In Hoboken Over Weekend: PHOTOS

For the first time since 2019, Macy's held "Balloon Field Training" for Thanksgiving Day Parade staff at the Stevens Institute in Hoboken.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Over the years, Macy's has blown up some of its Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons at the field at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken as part of "Balloon Field Training" for the balloon handling staff. This year, they held training this past Sunday.

They blew up two balloons: the Angrybird named Red, which was introduced in 2015, as well as a traditional giant candy cane.

A fan site said that the BalloonField Training was not held in 2020 or 2021 because of the pandemic.
