HOBOKEN, NJ —A man's body was found on Monday in Union City near the 14th Street Viaduct between that city and Hoboken, according to a story in NJ.com. That area of the Palisade hills is known to include homeless encampments, and men have been found there deceased before, as was the case in 2013. In 2018, a man was stabbed to death nearby. NJ.com posted photos of investigators searching a wooded area under the Viaduct on Monday.
The office of Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez Tweeted on Monday afternoon, "The Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and Union City Police Department are investigating the death of an adult male found in the area of 14th Street & Manhattan Ave in Union City. More information to follow."
