Man Had 50 Credit Cards In Different Names At Hoboken Hotel: Cops
Workers at the W Hotel found nearly 50 credit cards in several different names while cleaning one of the rooms, Hoboken police said.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police charged a man with credit card theft after workers at the W Hotel found nearly 50 credit cards in several names while cleaning one of the rooms last weekend.
According to the Hoboken Police Department, employees at the hotel found the credit cards on Saturday. The room they found them in was registered to Matthew Alley, who was still at the hotel when officers arrived around 5:37 p.m.
Detectives spoke to Alley, who was unable to give them a valid reason why he had the credit cards, authorities said.

Police arrested Alley, who also had an outstanding warrant in Mansfield Township, and charged him with credit card theft. He was released on a summons and given a new court date by Mansfield Township.
