Man Shot To Death In Hudson County On Monday: Prosecutors

A man was fatally shot in Hudson County in the wee hours of Monday morning, prosecutors said.

UNION CITY, NJ — A North Bergen man was found shot to death early Monday morning in Union City, prosecutors said.

Police found David Pulgarin, 42, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound around 1:50 a.m. near the intersection of 44th Street and Bergenline Avenue, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.

He was taken to Jersey City Medical Center and pronounced dead shortly after 2:30 a.m., prosecutors said.

No arrests had been made as of late Monday afternoon, prosecutors said.

The prosecutor's Homicide Unit and the Union City Police Department are investigating, and no further information is available, prosecutors said.
