Man Stabbed To Death At Popular N.J. Restaurant In Hudson County
A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death in front of a popular New Jersey restaurant this weekend, according to authorities.
A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death in front of a popular New Jersey restaurant this weekend, according to authorities.
Antonio Bouza died after he was found lying on the ground Friday outside of the Rumba Cubana restaurant in Guttenberg with a stab wound to his chest, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
The Gutteberg man was found at approximately 9:45 p.m., after police responded to Rumba Cubana, a restaurant located at 6909 Boulevard East, on a report of a disturbance and fight. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, according to the HCPO.

Emergency Medical Services transported Bouza to Palisades Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at approximately 10:35 p.m. The cause and manner of his death are pending an investigation by the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
Shortly after the incident, Reidel Carrasco, age 22, of West New York, surrendered himself at the Guttenberg Police Department for his alleged involvement in the death of Bouza. After an initial investigation, members of the Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit arrested Carrasco, according to the HCPO.

He has been charged with murder; possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose; and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to the HCPO.
The Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit continues to investigate this case. The restaurant opened just a few years ago and some observers caught the grand opening on video.
