Medical Practice Opens Second Pediatric Office

The Riverside Medical Group, which already maintains a pediatric office at 232 Clinton Street, opened its second location in Hoboken on Monday at 609 Washington Street.

“That office was really busy so we felt the need to open a second location,” office manager Margaret Atoot said.

The new office, led by doctors Jeani John, Seema Tiku and Yasaman Zarrabi offers physicals and responds to illnesses and also provides hearing, vision, blood, urine and other testing. John and Tiku also see patients at the Clinton Street facility. As a pediatric center the Riverside office treats children of all ages and also holds free prenatal classes for expecting parents.

The facility includes six rooms and will initially employ about a half dozen people, though Atoot said she expects the location will eventually increase its staff.

The pediatric office is the first of two new Riverside offices in Hoboken. An adult clinic will open in the same building in March. The group also has offices in Bayonne, Jersey City and Secaucus.

Coming soon: a home decor store and a self-serve yogurt joint come downtown.
