HOBOKEN, NJ — The newest location of Mod Cup Coffee, a locally owned group of coffee shops, opened on Monday, May 13, in Hoboken.

The new location posted signage over a year ago across the street from Church Square Park at Fourth Street and Park Avenue.

The shop started with just a cart 11 ago in Hoboken. In 2014, the owners opened their first storefront in Jersey City Heights across the street from Riverview Fisk Park.

The shop grew, with a location in Exchange Place and a store and roastery at 25 Senate Place in Journal Square.

Timing Of The Opening

Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla Tweeted recently, "Excited to welcome [Travas] and his team at Mod Cup Coffee back to Hoboken! Their official opening is this Monday at 7 a.m., right across the street from Church Square Park on 4th. Grab a cup of coffee on your way to work! Support small business."

The shop is located at 211 Fourth St.
