‘Naked Trump’ Disappears From N.J. Rooftop: Report
Where did the life-size, nude Donald Trump statue go? And will a surveillance video reveal any clues?

JERSEY CITY, NJ — New Jersey’s Naked Trump has disappeared, a report says.
The life-sized and nude statue of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump was put up atop a Jersey City building near the Holland Tunnel last week, a political statement perpetrated by guerrilla art and activist group Indecline.
The statue is part of an anti-Trump-themed campaign that Indecline calls “The Emperor Has No Balls” – a play on the old fable “The Emperor Has No Clothes” – and is an attempt to “uncover” Trump’s true agenda, the group claims.

An Indecline member told The Washington Post that the Jersey City Naked Trump – one of several which have popped up across the nation this year – would remain on display until the election is over in November.
But apparently someone else had other plans for the statue, which was reported stolen on Monday, NJ.com reported.

The man who reported the theft told police that surveillance video captured a man climbing the fire escape to the building at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, then spending nearly four hours lowering the statue along the east side of the building with a rope and tackle set, NJ.com stated.
Mana Contemporary, a Jersey City-based art collective and a tenant at the building that hosted Naked Trump had called the statue a much-needed “anti-bigotry” statement during the upcoming election season.
