HOBOKEN, NJ — The local Alfalfa restaurant group continues to expand, and will open its downtown Hoboken location in late June with a block party and giveaways, a spokesperson said Tuesday.

The restaurant — specializing in salads, wraps, and gourmet donuts — also has locations in uptown Hoboken, Jersey City, and California.

The newest Alfalfa will open in the space occupied for many years by Sobsey's produce store. A Sobsey's family member is involved in the new venture.
