HOBOKEN, NJ — Are you ready to chow down on some BRGRs in Hoboken?

That's not a misspelling. A "100 percent vegan" joint will come to lower Washington Street, replacing Touch the Heart, which closed last year.

The restaurant placed its awning at 324 Washington St. this week, promising plant-based burgers, as well as loaded fries and vegan soft serve ice cream.

The shop is an outgrowth of a popular late-night SoHo restaurant that serves up plant-based comfort food, from burgers to shakes, using ingredients like oat milk.

It's the second location for Jerrell's Betr Brgr in Manhattan.

The eatery bills itself as "The new late-night vegan burger joint in Soho, NYC, serving 100% plant-based burgers, fries, chili, and shakes."

The websites notes that it's a Black-owned business, founded by Jerrell Obee.

A vegan news outlet gushed about the original New York store: "Jerrell’s Betr Brgr has come to be known as the it-spot for late-night munching. Its comfort food menu offers burgers featuring Impossible patties piled high with fixings."
