New Building With Food Court Up For Vote At Hoboken Zoning Meeting

Will a building on Clinton Street in Hoboken be replaced by 11 residences and a food court? The Zoning Board may hear the application.

HOBOKEN, NJ — At Tuesday's Hoboken Zoning Board meeting, applicants will ask for permission to create 11 housing units above a food court at 710 Clinton St.

That isn't sitting well with at least one person who posted signs in the neighborhood, alerting people about the meeting (see the photo above).

The application seeks variances to create a "New mixed-use building with 11 dwelling units within four residential floors above an indoor food court."

The building is currently home to Cobalt Stages, a production company that also has a location in Kingston, N.Y.

Any matter that's not resolved may be heard at the following meeting, Aug. 15.
