New Day Spa Offers Variety Of Relaxation Services In Hoboken
Woodhouse has opened in the city's Waterfront neighborhood and offers affordable, high-end spa services in its fourth New Jersey location.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken residents in search of a peaceful environment in which to get away and find some rest and relaxation now have a new destination after a high-end spa company opened its fourth New Jersey location here last week.
Woodhouse’s Hoboken location opened to the public at 225 River St. and now offers guests more than 70 rejuvenating spa treatments that are being offered in an affordable manner in a serene setting, company officials said.
The company’s newest location, which is its 74th to open across the United States, is located in Hoboken’s Waterfront neighborhood. Woodhouse offers guests an array of signature spa services such as its Minkyti Facial, core body balancing aassage, organic seaweed leaf wrap, and seaweed marine eye compress treatment, the company said in a news release. The site also offers as well as mood care treatments that will be coming soon. All guests will be treated to a plush robe and reflexology sandals while gentle music, essential oils and soft lighting work are used to promote a sense of calm and relaxation.

“My experience operating Woodhouse spas in the New Jersey area for over a decade now has been very fulfilling and rewarding, as I have been able to bring wellness and care to communities across the state through this business,” Alla Shapiro, owner of Woodhouse Hoboken, said in a news release. “Health and wellness are incredibly important to me, so being able to run a business that delivers high-quality and specialized treatments that grant relaxation and luxury to hundreds of customers on a daily basis, thereby improving their mental and physical health, is truly a gift.”
Shapiro opened her first Woodhouse location in 2018 in Montclair and also has a location in Red Bank. Prior to becoming an owner of Woodhouse, Shapiro spent time working as a software engineer for an Airspace project at Allied Signal, and later as a portfolio manager for Bank of America before deciding to pursue her passion for spa ownership.

She said she was drawn to the incredibly unique and effective services offered by Woodhouse, inspiring her to open her own locations in order to share her passion with more guests across New Jersey.
“To be able to share this passion with the community of Hoboken is a very exciting opportunity and I look forward to this next step in continuing to grow with Woodhouse,” Shapiro said.
