New Eatery Opens On Hoboken's Washington Street (Menu Here)

The new spot opened in Hoboken on Saturday after a long wait, selling baked goods and specializing in pour over coffee.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The newest coffee shop on Hoboken's Washington Street, Pour Amor, opened for business on Saturday, serving up specialty coffees and a limited menu of baked goods. It describes itself as "Hoboken’s first pour over specialty coffeehouse."

What's special about a pour over? As they tell it: "Using freshly ground beans and water set at the perfect temperature, we carefully pour over our grinds to get a beautiful bloom and open up our coffee to reveal the true intention of our thoughtfully harvested beans. Come experience it for yourself!"

It's owned by Massimo Aronson, who also owns Bagels on the Hudson.

Beverage items on the menu over the weekend included a variety of coffees, teas, lattes, and hot chocolate, as well as specialty additions including macadamia nut milk. There were also baked goods at the counter. See photos above.
