San Giuseppe, a family-owned coal brick oven Italian restaurant, is coming soon to the Peach Tree Hollow Commerce Center at 1320 Adams Street.
Owner Joe Russo said the restaurant is still under construction but that it should open in three to four weeks.
“We're in good shape right now,” he said.

This is Russo's first restaurant in Hoboken, after opening one in Staten Island. Russo met his wife and co-owner Maria in Hoboken. She was born and raised in the city, and the couple married at St. Anne's Church. Their children were also born in Hoboken.
Russo was born in Sicily on the feast day for San Giuseppe. His wife Maria said her family comes from Milan and Naples and that the restaurant will be a mix of her northern Italian roots and the southern roots of her husband.

Joe Russo said the restaurant will cater to dining-in patrons and will serve pizza, pasta, appetizers, pies, cappuccino and other desserts. There will also be outdoor seating.
He added that the uptown location, near several condominium buildings and the movie theater, is an ideal place to open a new restaurant.
“This is the new Hoboken area, so many people live here,” he said.
Coming soon: a bakery comes to First Street, a fashion lounge comes to Washington Street, and the Hoboken Cigar Shop relocates to the southwest corner.
