NJ Reality Show Wants You To Be A Cast Member: Here's How To Apply

If you are an NJ socialite with a "big personality," a casting director whose company produces "Real Housewives of New Jersey" wants you.

NEW JERSEY — Would you describe yourself as a New Jersey "socialite" with a big personality or big family, or both? If so, a reality TV casting agent is looking for you.

Nina Malek posted on Instagram last week, "Now casting #newjersey socialites! Email or DM me a bit about you, your life and your family to apply."

Malek is a casting producer for ITV America. The company produces "Real Housewives of New Jersey," which just started its 12th season this month, after premiering in 2009.

In her announcement, Malek used the hashtags NJmoms, NJnightlife, BergenCounty, and FranklinLakes — which is where several of the families on "Real Housewives of New Jersey" live.

If you want to appear on the small screen, it will help if you have "a strong, funny, or outspoken personality that draws people in," Malek's announcement reads.

"If you or someone you know would be perfect for this," Malek says in her post, "Please email Nina.malek@itv.com."

The announcement didn't specify any gender preference, and didn't state if it was for "Real Housewives" or another show.

The current season of Real Housewives focuses on Theresa Giudice, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, and several other housewives.
