NJ Transit rail riders experienced delays on several lines headed in and out of New York Penn Station (NYPS) during the Friday morning rush hour. The culprit behind the delays? A disabled train, the agency says.

Early Friday, NJ Transit announced that trains into and out of NYPS would be subject to 30-minute delays “due to a disabled NJ Transit train near Amtrak Portal Bridge.”

As of 8:16 a.m., trains in and out of NYPS were still seeing 30-minute delays, NJ Transit stated in an update.
