Overturned Car In Weehawken; Traffic Delays Near Hoboken Border
A vehicle overturned near the Willow Avenue bridge, Hoboken authorities said.
HOBOKEN, NJ -- An overturned car in Weehawken caused traffic delays near the Hoboken border on Monday evening, authorities said.
Hoboken city officials said the incident took place near the Willow Avenue bridge. It closed inbound and outbound traffic on Willow Avenue.
Hoboken and Weehawken police were on the scene.

"That's in Weehawken, but [it] will obviously cause delays going in and out of the city of Hoboken during the end of this evening rush hour," Hoboken Police Chief Ken Ferrante wrote on Twitter. "Traffic units are in the north end of city trying to move traffic. Please use the south end of Hoboken to enter/exit the city if possible."
Bus service to and from the Port Authority terminal temporarily hit delays due to the crash, NJ Transit reported.

Bus service to/from PABT is subject to a delay of 15 minutes due to an earlier motor vehicle accident on Willow Ave in Hoboken.

UPDATE: Bus route no. 126 is on detour in Weehawken. Willow Ave at 19th St is closed due to a motor vehicle accident. Buses to Hoboken: R-Highwood, R-Blvd East, C-Park Ave- R. 14th St. Buses to PABT: L-15th St, R-Clinton Ave, R-16th St, L-Park Ave. NJ TRANSIT not involved.
