PATH Train Change For Sunday: No Direct Service From Hoboken To NYC, Special Newport Train
PATH will not have direct service from Hoboken to NYC most of Sunday, but there will be a "special" train to Newport in Jersey City.

HUDSON COUNTY — Due to track and switch work on the PATH train lines this weekend, according to the Port Authority, there will be no direct PATH service from Hoboken to New York City on Sunday, Feb. 6, between 3 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Instead, there will be a "Special Train" to the Newport PATH station in Jersey City, near the waterfront.
From there, one can transfer to head to Journal Square in Jersey City (and then to Newark or the World Trade Center), or take the 33rd Street train across the Hudson River.
