Bicyclist Hit, Suspending Part Of Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Line

Service was briefly suspended in both directions between 2nd Street and Newport and 2nd Street and Hoboken Monday morning.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service was briefly suspended in both directions between 2nd Street and Newport after a bicyclist was struck, NJ Transit wrote in a tweet Monday morning.

Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service was shut down between around 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday and has since resumed, NJTransit wrote. Service was still subject to up to 20-minute delays.
