Hoboken's Buddy Valastro – better known as the "Cake Boss" – has reportedly been asked to create a cake for Pope Francis.

Hoboken’s Buddy Valastro – better known as the “Cake Boss” – has reportedly been asked to create a cake for the Pope Francis’ Philadelphia visit on Saturday.

The NY Post reported that Valastro, one of the actors on TLC’s “Cake Boss,” will be making the cake for the pope’s appearance at the Festivals of the Families, which will also feature appearances by Aretha Franklin and The Fray.

“It would be in the shape of his magnificent hat or the Vatican . . . That city is rich in history, and buildings — I wouldn’t know where to start!” Valastro told the Telegraph earlier this year.
